Filming for @lifestraw means getting to go see some waterfalls, remote villages, and of course amazing kids in western Kenya. Here’s the set up with me drinking from this waterfall.

This trip/campaign has been all about the kids. These kids, who don’t have a football, and some don’t even have shoes. The kids that are full of life, and the future leaders of their community and even the world. The purification of water brought me here, and I’m left with the purification of my soul. I’m so touched and honored to be a part of this project, and to be a part of the @lifestraw team. Who do more than give clean water, they educate these kids on hygiene and safety, and maintain clean water for kids to drink.

One of the most breathtaking journeys this week was this boat ride to one of the most remote schools I’ve ever seen. 2.5hrs 🚙 then another 1.5hrs 🛶. The boat ride was in a bog which lead to Lake Victoria, then back though the narrow wetlands, and finally to the school. @llifestraw provides clean and safe drinking water to these kids, who until a few years ago, were suffering from water illnesses. I’m so impressed with this company’s mission, and am very excited to be creating content for them. Finally! A company that’s core mission is to do good. And all you have to do is purchase your lifestraw you’ll give a kid clean, safe water for a year.

The past week I’ve been filming with @lifestraw in Kenya. This company has the most humanitarian movement I’ve seen in a company. They provide safe water to a child in kenya for a year for every water filter purchased. The “Lifestraw Go,” is an amazing travel tool for all travelers, which I will be using for march’s theme (TBA 😉). If you are socially/environmentally conscious, and want clean safe water without wasting plastic grab a lifestraw. Their filters are some of the best I’ve seen on the market, and I’m a minor water nerd. I have a reverse osmosis filter in my house and before that a Berkey filter. Their travel filters are the best way to drink clean, safe water on the go. I literally drank out of lake Victoria the other day. It was a little fishy, but it was safe, and I was not sick. I don’t recommend drinking out of a fishy lake for taste sake, but it’s possible with a lifestraw.
